Water industry to benefit from Severn Utility Valves’ Midlands facility

Severn Utilities Valves has enhanced its offering for the UK water industry with the opening of a new technical and logistics centre in Rugby, Warwickshire.

The 11,300ft2 facility houses a comprehensive stockholding of valves and associated items for immediate despatch. It is strategically located within ten minutes of the M1 and M6, for fast and efficient transportation of products across the UK.

“Rapid turnaround and delivery of replacement valves is a critical factor for the water industry, along with high quality products and engineer-led support,” explains Ian Christopher, Commercial Manager of Severn Utilities Valves. “Engineering skill and product quality have always been inherent to our offering. This new facility completes the circle, enabling us to meet customer demands more efficiently.”

Severn Utilities Valves’ technical sales team is also based at the centre. The team combines extensive knowledge of the challenges facing the UK water industry with a high level of valve engineering skill. This underpins intelligent selection and specification of products, ensuring optimum reliability and cost-effectiveness for the operator.

Stock held at the Rugby facility for immediate delivery includes gate and butterfly

valves up to DN1200 plus a range of check valves, air release valves and hydrants. In support of this extensive stock, Severn Utilities Valves provides an actuation and ancillary package offering actuator sizing/selection and an in-house mounting and testing capability.

Severn Utilities Valves also offers valves in sizes up to DN5000 for power sector and general industrial applications.
